Ayubowan, I am Mrs. Berghofer. My home is in Vienna, Austria and my second home is the beautiful island of Sri Lanka and on this beautiful island it is a very special hotel and this the Mount Lavinia Hotel. My job was traveling around the world. But to this Hotel I am coming regularly since 1978 which means 30 years. I am coming every year and when I am leaving I am already home sick and looking to be back next year and being surprised what kind of change the management has undertaken. Also I am only 88 years old and convinced it is mainly the Hotel Mount Lavinia which keeps me going strong although no more visiting the cool hotel disco with the hot music.

I can tell you, you should come, just forget about all the troubles in the world, enjoy the warm welcome in the Hotel, the top service and last but not least the delicious food.

Just sit down on the beautiful Terrace with a drink and enjoy. Enjoy tasty drink, listen to the sound of the ocean, enjoy the view of Colombo, it's so beautiful.
